Last week, we received a wonderful email from William. He and his wife just had to make the decision to euthanize their cat, Lucky. They shared this wonderful photograph with us, and allowed us to share it with you.
William said, "When we picked up Lucky's ashes we did not expect to also receive Lucky's paw print in clay as well. What a wonderful surprise and concept.
I thought that I would share a photo of the free standing walnut plaque that now displays Lucky's paw print that I recently made. The clay paw print is recessed into the surface. Lucky's paw print now sits on a shelf among many other family photos."
Thank you for sharing your Lucky with us. We're so sad for your loss.

This is Mojo. Our loyal reader, Midge, sent me this picture to share, along with Mojo's story.
In Midge's words:
"Mojo was the devoted companion to my good friends, Rick and Michelle. He lived a wonderful life, but unfortunately most recently developed bone cancer. Michelle and Rick are firm believers of "Life with No Regrets" for their pets. Mojo recently went to Rainbow Bridge, but he left us with a touch of his humor.....the yellow spot in the snow! He was a great and elegant Dog and a wonderful companion and friend!
He loved a good bone, as any gentleman likes a good cigar. I mean, this dog would look at you and I swear his eyes were human. He had this quality of looking into your soul, very easy and special bonding with a dog like Mojo. He is sorely missed by all of us, but by Michelle and Rick most. I know there are no obituaries for animals, but Mojo was exceptional and deserves to be in print."
Thank you for sharing Mojo with us, Midge. We send out loving thoughts to Rick, Michelle, and all who loved him.

This is Maisie! She is a five year old Morkie (Maltese and Yorkie cross) and she belongs to blog reader, Eliza. Eliza told me that Maisie enjoys attending the All Creatures worship services at a local church, and she posed for this holiday shot. She is featured on fliers letting people know that this church will be celebrating the light our fellow animals bring into our lives! Isn't that wonderful?
Thank you so much for sharing your lovely Maisie with us, Eliza!

As you know, we like to share our photos for Wordless Wednesday. Well, I thought I would ask if any of you, our loyal blog friends, would like to share photos of your wonderful pets with us.
Do you have a great photo of your dog, cat, gerbil, horse, or goldfish (not limited to these pets, of course!) that you would like to see featured right here at the Café? We have all shared numerous photos of our own beloved pets, and would love to see some new faces too!
If you have a photo to share, email me (Tammy) at webmaster@wbtt.com. Snapshots work, but of course, they do have to be in digital format for emailing and using online! Please include the info you'd like to share - a little story about the photo, your animal's name(s), your name (which can be just a first name!), etc. I'll post them on subsequent Wednesdays and let you know when your pet will be featured! (Be sure your photos are tasteful and OK for all blog readers to view!)
We hope to see your wonderful pets soon!

This is Zena. She is on the prowl on the Savannah (OK... the backyard!) Zena belongs to Tammi. Tammi is one of the voices you'll hear answering the phone when you call the World by the Tail offices for excellent customer service!
Today, we have something a little different. This photo was sent to us by someone who received this lovely ClayPaws® Print from their veterinarian when their cute little Pug, Jack, died. She said,
"Our 12-1/2 year old pug, Jack, passed away suddenly last week. When I picked up his leash, I was presented with his paw prints. I cannot tell you how grateful we are that this vet had your product and was so kind to give us this memory of Jack. Needless to say, I was not expected it and was a puddle of tears for several hours, which was not a bad thing. It has helped us with our grieving. Thank you again for a wonderful product." --Karen and Craig, pet parents
This is Jewel, Laurel's sweet kitty. Several years ago, Jewel and Grafton were still allowed to go outside. Jewel encountered some major trouble. She got shot by a neighbor and nearly died! (They are not allowed outside anymore!) She got "bandage paralysis" and refused to walk while she was recovering! She is wearing her bandages in this picture.
These are Laurel's daughter's, Kaia and Bryn, with their then puppy, Sam. Sam passed away a couple of years ago. Kaia just went off to her first year at college, and Bryn just graduated from college and is living in New York City! How time flies! (Photo by Portraits by Betsy)
This is Max. He belongs to Lora, World by the Tail's Business and Print Manager. Max apparently helped himself to an empty ice cream carton! Ice cream induced nap!
As you read this (almost wordless) post, my husband and I are in Sacramento, CA attempting to find a place to live. My husband starts a new job on July 5th, so we're getting prepared to pack up our kitty family and head south! This photo is from our move, almost 2 years ago, to the Oregon coast. Our cats did SO well in our improvised carriers. We'll be using them again in a couple of weeks! Have you moved with pets? What tricks or tips can you share?

We've featured the lovely Bella here before. This is Bella with her dog mom, Lora (the print and business manager at World by the Tail!) Bella had just had enough with photos and decided to take off. The photographer caught the action!
Today, we're happy to feature Marti and her dogs. Marti is one of the shipping and fulfillment clerks at World by the Tail.
I am the webmaster/web developer at World by the Tail, Inc.
